Artwork Guidelines
Prepare logo files, colour notes and branding details so your merchandise can be checked clearly before production.
Artwork first
Clean files help products look more professional
Good artwork helps branded products look sharper, cleaner and more consistent. If you are unsure what file type you have, send it to the Richmond team and we can advise what is suitable before a quote is finalised.

Preferred file types
Vector artwork is usually best because it can be scaled cleanly without losing quality. Preferred file types include AI, EPS, SVG and PDF. High-resolution PNG and JPG files may also be useful depending on the product and branding method.
Logo quality
Please avoid small screenshots, low-resolution web images or logos copied from email signatures. These often become blurry when printed or branded onto products.
What helps Richmond respond quickly
Share your logo files, colour references, preferred branding position, product interest, quantity and required date. These details help Richmond check whether the branding route is practical.
Colours
If your brand uses specific colour references, please send them with your artwork. Some products and branding methods may have colour limitations, which can be confirmed during the quote process.
Branding Position
Different products have different print or branding areas. Richmond can advise where your logo will work best based on the product, artwork and available space.
Artwork Checks
Before production, artwork should be checked for size, clarity, colours and positioning. Where proofs are supplied, please review them carefully before approval.
